Manuel Bulos is an artist who is always trying to increase the dynamic between audience and author by objectifying emotions and investigating the duality that develops through different interpretations. By rejecting an objective truth and global cultural narratives, he creates intense personal moments masterfully created by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer round and round in circles.
Entertwine: What led you to pursue a career in music?
It´s more like a hobby right now, as I don´t have the time to make it a full-time thing (something I would love to). I started making music the momment I discovered the infinite possibilities you can get from Music Production, which is something I have been doing for 3 years now.
What experiences or life events have shaped your music?
Apart from all the stories I could have lived, the most important event in my life is my everyday routine, something I always try to change in order to make it more “dynamic”. My daily events are the ones who actually get turned into music.
Who or what influences you to write and perform?
I get a lot of inspiration from Sirensceol, but still prefer not to get influenced by another producer, it´s always something good to come up with something by yourself so it sounds a lot more unique.
What are some of the most exciting live performances you’ve been a part of?
My first performance. It took place at my high school – beautiful stage, numerous audience and professional sound.
What is in store for you for the rest of 2015?
Big label releases, new EP coming later this year and that´s pretty much it, basically trying to build a fanbase!
